(More customer reviews)I bought this unit thinking it would keep me from having to reset the timer every time the power goes out, or change the timer due to seasonal changes in sunsets... I needed 100 watts, no more, no less for the application. But with the settings tweaked to the extreme, the units still comes on at 4:00 in the afternoon with the sun still shining. On a southern wall, with some shade but not too much. Even overcast skies tripped the dang thing. Malibu's suggestion is to move the unit to a lighter area. Can't do that without relocating the receptical it plugs into, right?
Can't return the thing, either, since the receipt got misplaced, and the box thrown away(purely my fault). So I'm stuck. Buyer beware, I predict that many of these units will be returned for those "inconvenient" mechanical timer units.
